I've got a pair of bucket seats that were in the front of the bus when we got her. I've since whipped them out and had them sat in the garage for a while

Needing a new set of front seats in the bug, I decided to clean them up and get them fitted in. Went to bolt them in today and they are too big for a beetle (too wide across the "shoulders")

Anyone want them for £40 the pair? (With the runners)

Even better, anyone want to swap them for a pair of front seats that will fit in a beetle?

This is a real rush job as I'm off to Afghan next sunday and would like it all wrapped up by the time I go.....

Sorry mate, laptop went tits up. Had to buy a new one just to reply to this thread!!

Not sure on exact make and if you look closely you can see them fitted in the bay below. Unfortunately I'm down south this week, back on Thurs, so can't get pictures taken and emailed.

Swap wise, I'm after anything that will bolt in a bug. I've got no runners on the floorpan so they will need to be aftermarket (bolt through the floor) type.

The bug is satin black with grey headliner and will have black vinyl rear seats, so black or grey for they fronts will be alright, but for now, I just need something to fill the gaps (and sit on)

The seats are in Wittering, like I say, I'll be back thurs (hopefully) I can get online of an evening now so won't ingore you again. Promise.

well i was thinking coz iv got a porsche 924 with 1/2 leather seats but the drivers seat needs repairing as as the stitching has come away in 1 or 2 areas would they fit yours and are the seats reclinable as the roofs a bit low in a porsche

If Andy doesn't want these I could well be tempted for my bus and would like to see some pics.

Porsche seats eh? Sounds good. My buckets are reclinable. I might try and get home tomorrow night, but no promises.

iv got no idea mate if they will bolt in il have a look tomoz very intersted in trade they are 1/2 black leather with the porsche logs going down the centre
