Basically it potentially needs new heater channels both sides and the part of the floor that fits to the heater channels replacing (but will probably end up needing a completely new floor pan ). got a small problem,just changed my clutch in a 1600 69 beetle, and when i pull away in 1st it pops out of gear .it didnt happen before i changed the clutch,but then again it was slipping bad. any ideas?

I had a new front beam, ball joints and shocks fitted just last year by a guy near Kings Lynn. Also when you move the drivers side wheel in and out you can hear the knocking and feel slight play.

I've had a look at where it goes but can't figure out how to get it there. It doesn't mention anything about it in my VW for idiots book, and Haynes is about as useful as a Haynes manual!!

I was wondered if i need to use the additive? I have been using it and the engine is running well so far, but have been told that it will be fine to run on unleaded with no additive.
